Vineforce Teams is a desktop collaboration application that enables users to securely access their organization, collaborate with team members, and stay connected through a unified desktop experience.
This guide walks you through the simplified installation process using our automated installer for Linux.
Prerequisites

Step 1: Sign In to the Web Portal
First, log in to your organization's Vineforce Teams web portal. The URL is specific to your tenancy (e.g., https://<your-tenancy-name>.vineforceteams.com/account/login).
For example, if your tenancy name is vf-test, the URL would be:
https://vf-test.vineforceteams.com/account/login
Step 2: Download the Application
- Once logged in, navigate to Downloads from the left-hand menu.
- Locate the Vineforce Teams (Automated One-Click Installer) section.
- Click the Download for Linux button.
This will download a script file (.sh) to your computer.
Step 3: Open and Copy Script
- Open your Downloads folder (or the location where the file was saved).
- Locate the downloaded
.shfile. - Double-click the file. It will automatically open in your default text editor.
- Copy all of the content inside the text editor.
Step 4: Run the Installer
- Open a new Terminal window.
- Paste the copied content into the terminal and press Enter.
- The script will automatically perform all the setup and installation steps.
Step 5: Launch the Application and Login
Once the installation completes, the Vineforce Teams application will launch automatically.
- On the login screen, enter your Vineforce Teams username and password.
- Click Login to access your workspace.
You will then be taken to your dashboard where you can start collaborating and tracking your productivity.
